The uncanny connection from head to toe
We all have a line of connective tissue (the ‘superficial back line’) that runs from the tips of our toes all the way up to our forehead through our calves, hamstrings, back, neck, scalp and brow.! These fascial lines transmit tension and movement throughout the entire body. So even when you stretch your feet alone or lengthen your toes, the effects ripple upward—releasing tightness in your legs, easing tension in your back, and softening the muscles around your forehead. So we can tune and balance our whole body simply by doing a little work on our tootsies!
Come and see me for a stretch any time!

This blog explains how foot health plays an important role in overall body movement and comfort. The connection between your feet, posture, and daily activities is often overlooked. Simple stretching and proper care can support better balance, flexibility, and mobility. A great reminder to pay attention to where movement begins.
